Terms of use

Effective July 25, 2026

The deal, in plain English. Using PointMe — the app or this website — means you agree to this.

Drive safely — that's the whole ballgame

Don't operate PointMe while driving. You are solely responsible for driving safely and legally. Road signs, closures, traffic laws, and your own judgment always override anything PointMe shows — Point mode's beam is a straight-line direction, not a route, and turn-by-turn directions can be wrong or stale.

The data can be wrong

Places close, move, flood, or were mapped wrong in the first place. Routes, ETAs, hours, and stop details are best-effort. Check before you rely on anything that matters (fuel, food, a place to sleep).

As-is, no warranties

PointMe is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PointMe, and our total liability is limited to the greater of $10 or what you paid us in the past 12 months.

Your account

Keep your email accurate; it's how you get back in. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service — scraping, hammering our servers, or trying to break things for other people.

Fair use

PointMe is for personal, non-commercial road-tripping. Don't resell it, scrape it, or use it as a data feed.

Age

You need to be at least 13 to use PointMe.

Changes

Features may change, and we may update these terms; meaningful changes get called out in the app. If you keep using PointMe after a change, that's acceptance.

The boring but necessary part

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA. Questions: hello@pointmemap.com.
